How long does a .co.tz take?
Minutes once payment clears. Registrations go straight to the registry, and you get the login for DNS as soon as it lands.
What happens if I forget to renew?
A .tz name stays renewable for 30 days after it expires, and through the redemption period after that, at the normal price with no penalty. We email before each of those stages. Once the registry releases the name, anyone can take it.
Do I need hosting to register a domain?
No. You can park it on our free DNS and point it wherever you like later.
Can I move it away later?
Yes. Ask for the auth code and we send it — no fee, no waiting period beyond the registry's own.
